At Davidson Healthcare Services, LLC, operating online as davidsoncodingbilling.com, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our clients' Protected Health Information (PHI). As a trusted provider in the fields of medical billing, coding, credentialing, and healthcare administration services, we adhere strictly to the standards set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). 

This HIPAA Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose PHI in the course of our services. 

Who We Are 

Davidson Healthcare Services, LLC, through Davidson Coding & Billing, offers comprehensive Revenue Cycle Management and administrative support services for healthcare providers, including:

HIPAA Compliance as a Business Associate 

As a Business Associate under HIPAA, Davidson Healthcare Services, LLC has a legal and ethical obligation to: 

• Protect PHI from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure 
• Use PHI only for the purpose of providing contracted services 
• Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PHI 
• Notify clients of any data breaches or unauthorized disclosures 
• Sign and uphold Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all subcontractors who handle PHI 

How We Use and Disclose PHI 

We use and disclose PHI solely for the purposes of performing our services, such as: 

• Submitting medical claims and managing revenue cycle activities 
• Credentialing healthcare providers with insurance companies 
• Providing support in compliance audits and payer communications 
• Training staff and consulting on practice management 

We do not use PHI for marketing or sales purposes. 

Third-Party Vendors 

We partner with secure, HIPAA-compliant third-party vendors to support our operations. Each vendor that may access PHI is required to sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and follow all applicable privacy and security standards. 

Data Security 

To safeguard PHI, we implement industry-standard security measures, including but not limited to: 

• Secure, encrypted data storage and communication 
• Role-based access controls 
• Regular security training for staff 
• Incident detection and breach response protocols 

Client Rights 

As a Covered Entity or authorized representative, you have the right to: 

• Request access to or copies of PHI processed on your behalf 
• Request amendments to PHI if it is inaccurate 
• Receive an accounting of PHI disclosures 
• Submit a complaint regarding potential HIPAA violations
